Mercedes-AMG GT4 Spy Photos!

It seems like the AMG division from Affalterbach is cooking up a 4 door version of the Mercedes AMG GT to compete against the likes of the Porsche Panamera, Audi RS7 and the BMW M6. From those pictures, the car has the usual big AMG diamond grill on the front accompanied by headlights styling that is reminiscent of the new 3rd generation Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. Besides that, it sports an aggressive looking front splitter similar to the one in the current generation Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.

The back end of the car is very much similar to the rear end design of the Mercedes-AMG GT albeit much more higher and perhaps slightly narrower in terms of width accompanied by 4 exhaust pipes. A sloping roof line that stretches to the back of the car is also present to give a 4-door coupe look.

Performance wise, Mercedes have not disclosed any details about it. But it is very like to have a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 that is found in the AMG GT and rumour has it that the engine for the Mercedes-AMG GT4 will have an output in excess of 600BHP. A hybrid version of the AMG GT4 is likely to make its debut too with over 800BHP. It’s no surprises that Mercedes will equip the AMG GT4 with a 4Matic 4WD system to distribute its ferocious power safely on the road. Mercedes-AMG really mean business right here!
